The Palms at Town Country sold Friday in the most expensive commercial real estate transaction so far this year in South Florida. Houston-based Weingarten Realty purchased the 664,000 square foot outdoor mall for for $285 million from TIAA-CREF.
Located at the northeast corner of Florida's Turnpike and 88th Street, The Palms at Town Country provides various national retail chains to the Kendall area. Tenants include 24 Hour Fitness, Dick's Sporting Goods, Kohl's, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, and many more.
